EVAX’s Care&Protect insect repellent spray provides reliable biological protection against biting insects and ticks. In collaboration with leading doctors and researchers, we have developed our caring insect repellent to ensure effective defense and not to burden the horse with unnecessary additives. The person riding the horse is not exempt from this: The Care&Protect insect repellent also safely protects human skin from insects. Wearing gloves is not necessary with any of our care products for horses.

Our insect repellent spray has been specially developed for horses with sensitive skin. The formula combines a particularly strong effect with high tolerance. In addition to its insect protection, our spray offers a caring effect through provitamin B5, making it suitable for horses with sensitive skin.
Long-lasting protection against biting insects and ticks.
Our Care&Protect insect repellent spray provides long-lasting protection for any horse. It repels biting insects for up to 6 hours and ticks for up to 4 hours. Our effective formula contains Citriodiol, which is derived from Eucalyptus Citriodora oil and is considered nature’s most effective insect repellent (scientifically tested).

About the ingredients
Nourishing properties for healthy skin
Our spray contains provitamin B5 (dexpanthenol), which has hydrating properties and helps build and regenerate the skin. It not only protects against insects and ticks, but also nourishes the horse’s skin. In addition, it contains menthol, which has cooling and anti-itch properties. According to Annex 4 of the ADMR, the external application of menthol in the form of an essential oil in an insect repellent is ADMR-compliant and therefore also suitable for competition horses

External application for optimal results
The Care&Protect insect repellent spray is intended for external use on horses. The spray head of the bottle can be adjusted, allowing easy dosage of the insect repellent.
Spray evenly for comprehensive protection.
Spray the horse evenly with the Care&Protect insect repellent spray. Make sure to thoroughly treat all areas. To treat around sensitve areas like the eyes, mouth and teats spray into your hands and apply from your hands. If necessary, the application can be repeated, especially after heavy sweating or after spraying with water.

Also suitable for contact with human skin
The Care&Protect insect repellent may of course also come into contact with human skin and also protects it from biting insects. However, be sure to follow the general safety instructions and avoid contact with the eyes. Our high-quality care products for horses offer the same care and quality as products for humans and can also be used for other animals without hesitation.

Wirkt bei Hund und Pferd! Ich sprühe mich mit dem Insektenschutz ebenfalls ein. Wäre cool wenn Ihr ein Bundle aus allen Produkten anbietet. Das Shampoo nutzen wir auch schon. Grüezi in die Schweiz!

Liebes EVAX-Team, selten schreibe ich Bewertungen, aber der Insektenschutz hat mich echt überzeugt. Sehr angenehmer Geruch (Keine Chemie, nur frische Zitrone), starke Wirkung (die Plagegeister werden immer weniger) und vor allem echt ergiebig. Nutze jetzt die zweite Flasche und die erste hat in etwa 3 Monate gehalten. Schätze mal wir kommen mit 2 bis 3 Flaschen durch das Jahr.. bei täglicher Nutzung. Ob es an dem Insektenspray oder der Ernährung liegt kann ich nicht sagen (vllt auch eine Mischung), aber wir haben auch keinen Zeckenbefall mehr. Ihr habt mich überzeugt.

Beste Insektenspray welches wir bisher verwendet haben. Verträgt mein Ekzemer auch super, was bei anderen Insektenschutzmitteln nicht immer der Fall ist.

Fjólas und mein Lieblingsinsektenspray! Bei meiner leichten Ekzemerstute in Offenstall-/Weidehaltung hilft es bis jetzt sehr gut, es erspart mir sogar weitestgehend zusätzliche Pflegeprodukte oder gar das Eindecken. Mal noch den Hochsommer abwarten, aber schon jetzt ist bei uns Stechviecherseitig die Hölle los mit verschiedensten Arten und bisher quasi kein Schubbern, kaum Stiche und ein entspanntes, zufriedenes Pony. Es ist auch das einzige Insektenspray, bei dem sie gerne frei stehen bleibt und sogar dankbar bei der „Behandlung“ dreinschaut. Die anderen Pferde sind übersäht mit Mistviechern, Pony dagegen völlig ungestört.
Lässt sich schön fein sprühen und gut mit der Hand gleichmäßig verstreichen. Riecht angenehm frisch und nicht zu aufdringlich.
Bin optimistisch, dass wir damit bis zur Impfstofffreigabe durchhalten und habe nachbestellt. Verwende es einmal täglich vorm Training bzw. bevor surrender Weise zum Abendmahl gerufen wird 😉
Empfehle das Spray gerne weiter und dass man so gleich die ersehnte Impfstoffentwicklung unterstützen kann, finde ich super!

Der beste Fliegenspray den ich bis jetzt probiert hab!!! Alle anderrn Pferde (nicht Ekzemer) wollten schon reinkommen von der Weide weil es soviele Vicher hatte und meiner stand ganz zufrieden grasend dort… würde also sagen wirkt!!!

Der beste Fliegen- und Insektenschutz den ich jemals hatte! Es lässt sich sehr gut grossflächig auf dem Pferd verteilen (zerstäubt gut) und ist auch nach dem Ritt trotz Schweiss noch da. Man riecht auch noch nach dem Ritt, dass es noch haftet und die Viecher lassen einen deutlich mehr in Ruhe (sehr praktisch, wenn man einen totalen Insekten-Hasser hat). Ich habe den Spray auch schon auf meine Beine gesprüht, wenn ich mit meinem Pferd joggen war und kam ohne irgendeinen Stich nach Hause. Dazu riecht es einfach nur nach Zitrone und nicht irgendwie chemisch oder so. Super Produkt!!
